4.1 Requirements

The following requirements have to be met to use recurring payments for subscription products:

• You have access to an additional Datatrans account for the XML/SOAP API.
• The plugin WooCommerce Subscriptions is installed.
• The website in run over https with a valid SSL certificate.

4.2 Setup

No further steps are needed to sell WooCommerce product over the Datatrans payment methods. Payments will automatically be processed at the points of time you defined for the product.

Automatic recurring payments are only available for the following payment methods:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Discover, JCB, SEPA, PayPal, PostFinance Card, Swisscom Easypay.

Only these payment method will be available on the checkout page if there is a subscription product in the customer’s shopping cart.
